Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all commercial activities, including sales, marketing, and business development.
Manage and expand customer relationships across wholesale, retail, and export channels.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to drive business growth.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients and distributors.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
Supervise brand development, marketing content, advertising, and promotions.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Set and track KPIs for sales performance and marketing ROI.
Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and food safety standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior commercial, sales, or marketing role within the fresh produce sector.
Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of perishables logistics, supply chain, and market dynamics.
Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and commercial acumen.
Experience with digital marketing tools and CRM systems is a plus.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
