Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Compliance Deputy to oversee worker welfare across UAE projects, starting at Abu Dhabi border (KIZAD). You will ensure adherence to local laws, JEG standards and client requirements, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

The role involves maintaining secure welfare data, reporting, audits and training on compliance, and acting as the confidential contact for worker grievances. Multilingual capabilities and strong English reporting are required.

Qualifications

• Experience handling large volumes of sensitive data.
• 6–12 months experience in compliance (worker welfare).
• Multilingual capabilities.
• MS365 experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate worker welfare data, statistics and confidential records for reporting, audits, and compliance purposes.
• Communicate updates on JEG standards across procurement, contracts, project teams, suppliers and subcontractors; deliver training on worker welfare and compliance.
• Monitor UAE laws relevant to worker welfare to ensure JEG compliance.
• Manage worker welfare compliance across the supply chain via prequalification assessments and audits.
• Identify compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions with subcontractors to prevent recurrence.
• Serve as confidential point of contact for worker grievances and resolve them according to procedure.
