Job summary

Visuna Ltd in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Well Testing Supervisor to lead safe, efficient and reliable well testing operations at the wellsite. You will supervise personnel, coordinate equipment, and ensure all activities follow approved procedures and client requirements with strict HSE adherence.

• Strong knowledge of well testing equipment and procedures.

• Understanding of pressure control, flow measurement and separation.

• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Ability to read well programmes, procedures and P&IDs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Well Testing Supervisors to join our team supporting oilfield operations in Saudi Arabia.

The Well Testing Supervisor will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful execution of well testing operations at the wellsite. The role involves supervising personnel, coordinating equipment and ensuring all well testing activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, client requirements and the highest HSE standards.

Previous experience with SLB (Schlumberger) is preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.

The day rates for this position will be between $180 – $200 – please do not apply for this position if you are not willing to accept this.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all well testing activities at the wellsite.
• Lead and manage the well testing crew throughout the preparation, execution and completion of operations.
• Ensure equipment is correctly rigged up, tested and prepared prior to commencing operations.
• Supervise the installation and operation of well testing equipment, including flow lines, separators, chokes, manifolds, pressure control equipment and associated systems.
• Monitor well pressures, flow rates, temperatures and other operational parameters.
• Ensure well testing programmes and procedures are followed correctly.
• Liaise with the client, drilling team, production personnel, engineers and other service companies at the wellsite.
• Coordinate operational activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of the well test.
• Conduct pre-job meetings, toolbox talks and operational briefings.
• Ensure all personnel understand their responsibilities, potential hazards and emergency procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential operational or mechanical issues.
• Ensure pressure testing and equipment integrity checks are completed in accordance with approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records, well test data and shift reports.
• Review and communicate test results and operational information to the relevant client representatives and engineering teams.
• Ensure all equipment is safely shut down, depressurised and rigged down following completion of the operation.
• Investigate and report equipment failures, incidents, near misses and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and Saudi Arabian HSE requirements.
• Stop work where unsafe conditions or activities are identified.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior personnel and well testing crew members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Well Testing Supervisor within the Oil & Gas / Well Services industry.
• Strong operational knowledge of well testing equipment and procedures.
• Previous experience supervising well testing operations in a wellsite environment.
• Good understanding of pressure control, flow measurement, separation and well test equipment.
• Experience with high-pressure well testing operations.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and understand well programmes, procedures, P&IDs and relevant technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound operational decisions.
• Willingness to work rotational schedules in Saudi Arabia.
• Valid passport and ability to obtain the required Saudi Arabian work visa and medical clearance.
