Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage and dispatch while maintaining a safe, productive environment.

You will lead a team of warehouse associates, optimize layouts, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate with logistics and production to meet targets. English and Arabic language skills are required; 3–5 years of warehousing experience with 2+ in supervision preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control principles.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jacks with relevant certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates including scheduling, performance management and training.
• Manage and optimize warehouse layouts and processes for improved efficiency and space utilization.
• Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, stock checks and discrepancy resolution.
• Oversee loading and unloading of trucks with proper documentation and safety compliance.
• Enforce safety policies and provide regular safety training and inspections.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement and production to ensure smooth material flow.
• Ensure accuracy of all warehouse transactions in SAP.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and implement improvements.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Support development and implementation of new warehouse technologies and systems.

Job description

• Lead mentor and supervise a team of warehouse associates including scheduling performance management and training
• Manage and optimize warehouse layouts and processes for improved efficiency and space utilization
• Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts stock checks and addressing discrepancies
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols
• Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures including regular safety training and inspections
• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance as needed
• Collaborate with logistics procurement and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and meet operational targets
• Responsible on the accuracy of all warehouse steps and transaction in SAP system
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company standards
• Participate in the development and implementation of new warehouse technologies and systems
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines

Your background

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems WMS and inventory control principles
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word Outlook
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting
• Ability to operate various warehouse equipment e g forklifts pallet jacks and possess relevant certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff
• Diploma or equivalent required bachelor s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required
