Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Dammam to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of goods while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

You will lead a team, optimize layouts, ensure inventory integrity, and coordinate with logistics, procurement and production to meet targets. Strong WMS knowledge and bilingual English/Arabic are required to succeed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in warehouse operations, with 2+ years in supervision.
  • Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
  • Ability to operate forklifts/pallet jacks with relevant certifications.
  • English and Arabic language proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and supervise a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
  • Manage and optimize warehouse layouts and processes for improved efficiency and space utilization.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, stock checks, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Oversee loading/unloading of trucks with proper documentation and safety compliance.
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct regular training and inspections.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment; coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement and production to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Ensure accuracy of all SAP transactions and warehouse steps.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and identify improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Participate in development and deployment of new warehouse technologies and systems.
  • Adhere to external and internal regulations and guidelines.

Job Description

The opportunity Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, performance management, and training.

Your background
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and possess relevant certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff.
  • Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.
