Job summary

BlueHorizon is seeking a Librarian in Riyadh to manage and organize the library’s collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. You will assist patrons in locating resources and provide information on library services to ensure a high level of customer support.

Responsibilities include cataloging, shelving, program development, materials acquisition, and keeping accurate records. The role emphasizes organization, independence, and excellent communication with diverse patrons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field required.
• 2+ years of Librarian experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with library technologies and cataloging systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an organized cataloging and shelving system.
• Assist patrons with locating materials and information on library services.
• Develop and implement programs to promote library use across ages.
• Manage acquisition of new materials for the collection.
• Maintain records of borrowed materials and ensure timely returns.
• Keep library space clean and organized; train staff/volunteers as needed.
