Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Reference Librarian.
• Proficiency in using electronic databases and other research tools.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current trends in librarianship.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with reference and research inquiries including locating materials and providing guidance on research strategies.
• Develop and maintain the library's collection of resources including books journals databases and other materials.
• Plan and implement educational programs and workshops to promote information literacy among library users.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the field of librarianship.
• Collaborate with other library staff to develop and implement policies and procedures for the effective operation of the library.
