Job summary

Almarai in Saudi Arabia invites a Veterinarian to join one of the world’s largest dairy farming operations. Based across six farms, you will maintain animal health, welfare and productivity through preventive veterinary care and herd health management.

Your duties include monitoring herd health, diagnosing and treating conditions, implementing vaccination and biosecurity programs, supporting reproductive health and calving management, and training staff on animal health practices while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine (DVM) required.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in farm animal practice with dairy cattle exposure.
• Strong knowledge of herd health, preventive medicine, and disease control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain herd health through routine inspections and preventive programs.
• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and health-related conditions.
• Implement vaccination, biosecurity, and disease-control programs.
• Support reproductive health, calving management, and fertility monitoring.

Based in Saudi Arabia, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support a dairy herd of approximately 180,000 cattle across six farms. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining animal health, welfare, and productivity through preventive veterinary care and herd health management.
