Job summary

Sanabil Studio seeks a Venture Architect Manager to lead new venture development from idea to execution, acting as a founding leader within ventures and coordinating cross-functional teams. You’ll set strategic direction, manage timelines and budgets, and drive data-driven decisions to maximize growth and market access.

The role involves multi-venture exposure across the Middle East and beyond, with fast cycles and opportunities to influence investment materials and executive-level updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a top university; MBA or Master’s a plus.
• 8+ years across venture building, startups, strategy consulting, VC, product, or innovation.
• Experience leading zero-to-one initiatives, launching products or ventures, in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in venture-backed startups, top consulting, VC, or venture studio environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of new ventures from opportunity identification to prototype launch and initial scaling.
• Identify and prioritize high-potential venture opportunities aligned with strategy and market trends.
• Lead customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and validation for problem-solution fit.
• Develop venture strategies, business models, monetization plans, and operating/go-to-market plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Growth, Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive execution.
• Define and track venture KPIs, unit economics, and experimentation outcomes.
• Prepare investment materials and executive updates for stakeholders.
• Manage venture timelines, budgets, and cross-venture resource allocation.
• Build strategic partnerships and pilot programs to accelerate growth and market access.
• Mentor Venture Architects and cross-functional teams to foster ownership and delivery.
• Make data-driven recommendations to pivot or accelerate ventures based on signals.

We are looking for a Venture Architect Manager to lead the development of new ventures from idea to execution, operating as a founding business leader within a venture while managing cross‑functional teams, strategic direction, and venture performance.

THE ROLE

What you'll own here.

• Lead the end-to-end development of new ventures, from opportunity identification and validation through prototype launch, go-to-market execution, and early-stage scaling.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-potential venture opportunities aligned with the studio’s strategic priorities, market trends, and investment thesis.
• Lead customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and validation efforts to assess problem-solution fit and commercial viability.
• Develop venture strategies, business models, monetization approaches, operating plans, and scalable go-to-market strategies.
• Partner closely with Product, Technology, Growth, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to drive venture execution and remove operational bottlenecks.
• Define and track venture KPIs, growth metrics, unit economics, and experimentation outcomes to support data-driven decision-making.
• Prepare investment materials, business cases, strategic recommendations, and executive-level updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage venture timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and execution plans across multiple parallel initiatives.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships, pilot programs, and commercial collaborations to accelerate venture growth and market access.
• Mentor and support Venture Architects and cross‑functional venture teams, fostering a high‑ownership and execution‑focused environment.
• Make data‑driven recommendations to pivot, accelerate, pause, or sunset ventures based on market signals, customer insights, and performance outcomes.

THE PROFILE

You’re probably a fit if…

• You hold a bachelor’s degree with excellent academic performance from a top university; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
• You have 8+ years of experience across venture building, startups, strategy consulting, venture capital, product, or innovation-focused roles.
• You have experience leading zero-to-one initiatives, launching products or ventures, and operating in fast‑paced and ambiguous environments.
• You have experience at a venture‑backed startup, top‑tier consulting firm, venture capital fund, or venture studio environment.
• You are highly analytical and comfortable building business cases, financial models, operating plans, and strategic recommendations.
• You understand lean startup and agile methodologies and can apply them in real operating environments.
• You are highly execution‑oriented and can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
• You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Bonus: Background in product management, growth, venture investing, or founder experience.

THE ENVIRONMENT:

• You Are the Founder: Our venture teams are small and independent. You will not be supporting a CxO; you will be acting as one, with full ownership of your workstream from day one.
