Saudi Aramco is seeking an experienced Transition Minerals Strategy Analyst to lead sourcing, optimization, and governance of minerals like lithium, nickel, and rare earth elements essential to the energy transition.

The role requires 7+ years in minerals, strong strategic planning and ESG credentials, and collaboration with procurement, legal, and policymakers to build sustainable supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mining Geology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in energy transition minerals development with a focus in strategy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of mineral economics and market dynamics.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development of a comprehensive long-term strategy for sourcing and utilizing transition minerals.
• Monitor global trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Establish a roadmap for securing critical mineral resources with sustainability in mind.
• Develop and review financial models, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses for mining projects.
• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to establish long-term, sustainable supplier agreements.
• Act as liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including governments and investors.
• Represent the company at international conferences and industry forums focused on transition minerals.
• Lead or support project evaluation, negotiation, and execution aligned with company goals.
• Develop mitigation strategies for resource scarcity, geopolitical tensions, and supply disruptions.
