Job summary

Saudi Aramco seeks a Minerals Exploration & Mining technical advisor to join the Aramco Minerals team within Upstream. You will design and implement exploration programs, interpret geological data, and guide mining strategies using advanced methods and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role requires extensive field experience, leadership in QA/QC, and the ability to work in remote locations. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to strategic exploration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field; MSc preferred.
• Professional registration (PGeo, RPGeo) highly preferred.
• 15 years of experience with 5–10 years in mineral exploration or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement exploration and mining strategies aligned with company goals.
• Identify high-potential target areas using geological, geophysical, and geochemical data.
• Conduct metallurgical testing to determine ore characteristics and extraction methods.
• Interpret geological data to inform reserve estimation and resource optimization.
• Advise on sampling processes for soil, rock, and core samples; prepare reports.
