Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Knowledge of molding processes, equipment operation and process controls.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand manufacturing drawings, work instructions, and process requirements related to transformer molding operations.
• Operate molding machines and equipment for dry type transformer production.
• Prepare molds, materials and equipment before starting production.
• Monitor molding parameters and ensure compliance with specified process settings.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections and complete required checklists and production records.
• Ensure molded components meet quality standards and production specifications.
• Report any non-conforming materials, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations to the Section Supervisor.
• Maintain molds, tools, machines and the work area in a clear, organized and safe condition.
• Follow all safety, quality and environments procedures during production activities.
