Alstom is seeking a CAD/BIM Design Specialist to support the Riyadh Metro Line 2 Extension project. You will produce and update Track & 3rd Rail CAD drawings, develop 3D BIM models, and manage design information within the CDE, coordinating interfaces with Civil Works, MEP, Signalling, and other disciplines.

You'll play a key role in supporting the design and integration of Track & 3rd Rail systems for the Riyadh Metro Line 2 Extension Project. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business, including Signalling, Telecommunications, Civil, MEP, Traction Power, and Construction partners/contractors, ensuring the production, coordination, and maintenance of high-quality CAD drawings and BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll specifically take care of producing and updating Track & 3rd Rail design deliverables, managing model coordination activities, and supporting multidisciplinary interface management, while ensuring compliance with project BIM and document control requirements.
We'll look to you for:
Producing and updating Track & 3rd Rail CAD drawings, layouts, sections, and installation details using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Developing and maintaining 3D BIM models for Trackwork and 750V DC Third Rail systems.
Managing design information within the Common Data Environment (CDE) and applying project codification and document control processes. Coordinating Track & 3rd Rail interfaces with Civil Works, MEP, Signalling, Communications, and Traction Power disciplines.
Performing model federation, clash detection, and clearance verification using Navisworks.
Supporting multidisciplinary design coordination and integration meetings.
Reviewing and updating design models based on engineering comments, site conditions, and project requirements.
Ensuring consistency between drawings, BIM models, and approved design documentation.
Managing design revisions, configuration updates, and as-built record incorporation.
Supporting Construction & Delivery teams by providing updated drawings, model extracts, and technical drafting support during installation and testing activities.
