Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Principal Site Electrical Engineer for a project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves coordinating with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct electrical design implementation, and reviewing drawings, studies and material specifications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in oil/gas, hydrocarbons, refinery or related infrastructure, with mining experience and a minimum of 15–18 years in mining projects.

• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, international codes and standards.

Wood is currently seeking experienced PMC Principal Site Electrical Engineer to support one of our projects in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design for his engineering specialty and coordinates the work of engineers within his specialty.
• Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications.
• Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.

Experience Required:

• Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in a specific engineering field on large to mega projects.
• Have Mining Experience
• Minimum 15 years of mining Experience
• Minimum of 18 years of experience

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical Engineer

Skills Required:

• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
