Job summary

Wood is currently seeking an experienced PMC Principal Site Electrical Engineer to support a project in Saudi Arabia. The role requires coordination with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of electrical designs on mega projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive mining experience, with 15–18 years in related fields, and extensive knowledge of international codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Mining experience is required.
• Minimum 15 years of mining experience.
• Minimum of 18 years of experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in a specific engineering field on large to mega projects.
• Coordinates with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design for his engineering specialty and coordinates the work of engineers within his specialty. Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications. Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
• Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
