Job summary

TAWANTECH is seeking an experienced Test Environment Manager to lead planning, governance, and operational management of enterprise non-production environments for development, testing, UAT, performance testing, and pre-production activities.

The role requires strong infrastructure background, project management skills, and proven coordination across Infrastructure, Network, Database, Middleware, Security, DevOps, and Application Development teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in Infrastructure, technical PM, or release management.
• Experience managing enterprise non-production environments.
• Strong cross-team coordination across infra, network, DB, middleware, security.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise test environments.
• Coordinate environment provisioning across server, storage, network, DB, middleware, security, and cloud.
• Lead environment planning with PMs, tech leads, QA, infra, and release teams.
• Track milestones; ensure delivery aligns with project timelines.
• Drive automation for provisioning, monitoring, and environment validation.
• Ensure ITIL/change governance and security compliance.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Environment Manager to lead the planning, governance, and operational management of enterprise non-production environments supporting application development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and pre-production activities. This role combines Project Management, Infrastructure Coordination, and Environment Governance to ensure test environments are delivered on schedule, properly configured, and aligned with business and project objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in infrastructure, excellent project management skills, and proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Network, Database, Middleware, Security, DevOps, and Application Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise test environments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all environment-related activities across projects.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise Environment Roadmap and Capacity Plan.
• Lead environment planning meetings with Project Managers, Technical Leads, QA, Infrastructure, and Release Management teams.
• Coordinate environment provisioning across Server, Storage, Network, Database, Middleware, Security, and Cloud teams.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness before SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, and Pre-Production.
• Manage environment booking, allocation, scheduling, and conflict resolution across multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate application deployments and infrastructure changes with Release Management.
• Manage dependencies between applications, middleware, databases, network, and infrastructure services.
• Track project milestones and ensure environment delivery aligns with project timelines.
• Lead risk identification, issue management, and mitigation planning related to environment availability.
• Coordinate environment refreshes, database cloning, and test data management.
• Monitor environment utilization and optimize resource allocation.
• Lead technical discussions with infrastructure architects and engineering teams.
• Prepare executive reports, KPIs, dashboards, and environment status reports.
• Drive automation initiatives for provisioning, monitoring, and environment validation.
• Ensure compliance with Change Management, ITIL processes, and security standards.
