Job summary

Seder Group Trading and Contracting is seeking a telecommunications technician in Saudi Arabia to install, configure, and maintain PBX, VoIP, and traditional phone systems, ensuring high availability.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex voice and data network issues, conducting site surveys, and documenting all activities. The role requires strong English communication and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred in Electronics or Telecommunications.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA Voice are advantageous.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing PBX, VoIP, and analog phone systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and cabling standards (Cat5e and above).
• Excellent English communication, both spoken and written, with client and team interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; managed time to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain telecommunication systems including PBX, VoIP and traditional phone lines ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to voice and data communication networks diagnosing hardware and software problems efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and system upgrades to prevent future issues and enhance network capabilities.
• Manage cabling infrastructure including installation, termination and testing of network and phone lines for both new and existing setups.
• Respond to service calls and customer requests promptly providing clear explanations and effective solutions for their telecommunication needs.
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and recommend appropriate telecommunication solutions.
• Document all installations, maintenance activities and troubleshooting steps accurately for record-keeping and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in telecommunication technology and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all technical operations.
