Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an Automated Operations Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Riyadh. This role provides 24/7 surveillance across services and infrastructure, focusing on availability, performance, and automated operations. It requires coordination with Field Operations for onsite maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Telecommunications or Computer Science and have 0–2 years in telecom. English fluency is essential to succeed in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
• 0–2 years in the telecom industry.
• Telecom/IP certifications are considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, LTE and telecom service architectures.
• Understanding of KPI frameworks and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24/7 monitoring of services, networks, alarms, events and performance indicators.
• Conduct first-level investigation and analysis to identify root causes and anticipate disruptions.
• Supervise automated recovery processes and validate service restoration activities.
• Manage the full incident ticket lifecycle from creation to closure.
• Perform first-level fault management and troubleshooting, escalate to higher levels as needed.
• Coordinate with Field Operations for onsite maintenance and fault resolution.
• Support preventive maintenance and change monitoring within scope.
• Prepare operational and incident reports and performance summaries.
