Job summary

El-Ajou Group Trading Co. in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced AV technician to install, configure, test, and maintain AV systems across meeting rooms and digital signage.

You will troubleshoot displays, projectors, audio systems, and control devices while ensuring adherence to SLAs and documented procedures. The role requires 3–5 years hands-on AV experience, strong knowledge of AV networking, signal flow, cabling, and AV protocols, plus good English communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, Audio Visual Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on AV technical experience.
• Strong experience in AV installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Good understanding of AV networking, signal flow, cabling, audio/video protocols, and control systems.
• Experience with major professional AV brands is preferred.
• OEM or industry AV certifications are an advantage.
• Good English communication and technical documentation skills.
• Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain AV systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair projectors, professional displays, LED/LCD screens, video walls, interactive displays, audio systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, control systems, and conferencing solutions.
• Support meeting rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and digital signage solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot signal distribution and connectivity, including HDMI, HDBaseT, IP-based AV, audio/video switching, and network-connected AV devices.
• Provide technical support for video conferencing and collaboration systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to service requirements and SLAs.
• Conduct site surveys and support preparation of technical requirements and solution designs.
• Diagnose hardware, software, connectivity, cabling, and configuration issues.
• Coordinate with manufacturers/OEM technical support for complex escalations.
• Complete service reports, Work Orders, installation documents, and customer acceptance documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of installed equipment, serial numbers, configurations, and service history.
• Provide customer training and basic operational guidance after installation.
• Support project teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Follow company safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Maintain high levels of first-fix performance, response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
