  • Monitor system performance and adjust settings to maintain required technical quality.
  • Configure and troubleshoot DMX lighting control networks.
  • Review audio and video signal paths to identify faults or performance issues.
  • Support networked AV systems and related communication protocols.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and restore service efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on lighting, audio, video, and control equipment.
  • Maintain equipment in reliable operating condition between events and project activities.
  • Coordinate technical requirements with event planners, production managers, and project teams.
  • Work with clients to clarify operational needs and technical expectations.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding equipment selection and availability.
  • Coordinate delivery, setup, replacement, and technical support for sourced equipment.
  • Support inventory control for lighting and AV components.
  • Verify that installation practices comply with electrical and safety requirements.
  • Ensure power distribution arrangements are appropriate for installed technical equipment.
  • Review installations against applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients, operators, and project team members.
  • Assist production teams during setup, rehearsals, testing, and live execution.
  • Document system configurations and equipment settings for future reference.
  • Maintain records of equipment specifications, maintenance activities, and technical changes.
  • Prepare troubleshooting and maintenance documentation where required.
  • Support video production and content management systems when relevant to the project.
  • Coordinate multiple vendors and technical workstreams against project deadlines.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AV, lighting, control, and digital production technologies.
  • Recommend system improvements based on evolving technical capabilities and operational requirements.
  • Adapt quickly when production requirements, venue conditions, or technical priorities change.
