Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical and operational aspects of factories and warehouses in Riyadh. You will ensure operational efficiency, inventory safety, and reliable systems, facilities, and equipment supporting storage and distribution operations.

You will monitor compliance with SFDA and other regulatory requirements, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvements in safety, licensing, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Safety-related degree required.
• 5–7 years of experience in warehouse or facilities operations.
• Experience supervising teams and monitoring technical performance.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety systems in warehouses.
• Ability to manage regulatory licensing and renewals.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical and operational aspects of factories and warehouses, ensuring operational efficiency, inventory safety, and the reliability of systems, facilities, and equipment supporting storage and distribution operations. The role will be responsible for monitoring warehouse and factory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, overseeing facility readiness, coordinating with relevant government authorities, and continuously improving technical and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor warehouse and factory operations and ensure compliance with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) requirements, Civil Defense requirements, municipality requirements, and other relevant government regulations.
• Oversee the implementation of security and occupational safety requirements within warehouses and ensure facility readiness.
• Conduct regular field visits to warehouses to assess technical performance and compliance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor statutory licensing requirements and ensure all necessary conditions are met for obtaining and renewing licenses.
• Coordinate with representatives of government authorities, receive inspections and observations, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide technical and organizational recommendations to improve work processes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise warehouse employees and ensure they perform their assigned duties in accordance with approved procedures.
• Monitor the implementation of security and occupational safety procedures and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on the technical condition and regulatory compliance of warehouses.
• Perform any other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by direct management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Warehouse Management, Logistics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a warehouse or operational facilities environment.
• Experience supervising teams and monitoring technical performance.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety systems and procedures within warehouses.
• Ability to manage and prepare regulatory licensing and periodic renewal requirements.
