Job summary

Mina Excellence is seeking a Technical Lead – Enterprise Infrastructure to act as the technical authority for our compute, virtualization, storage, backup, OS and cloud infrastructure. You will steer architecture governance, design standards and roadmaps while guiding engineering teams and serving as a senior escalation contact for critical incidents.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with VMware/vSphere and Windows Server, and a strong ITIL-based approach to service/change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware/vSphere and Windows Server.
• Experience with enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Proven governance and major incident management capabilities.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service and change management.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Enterprise Infrastructure to serve as the technical authority across enterprise infrastructure, including Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, Operating Systems, and Cloud Infrastructure.

The role will provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and expert guidance across infrastructure services while acting as a senior escalation point for major incidents and complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority across enterprise Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, Operating Systems, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and govern infrastructure architecture, standards, technical designs, and technology roadmaps.
• Review and approve infrastructure solutions, designs, configurations, and major technical changes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure engineering teams.
• Act as a senior escalation point for major incidents and critical infrastructure issues.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for complex infrastructure problems.
• Ensure infrastructure environments are secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient.
• Oversee infrastructure capacity, performance, availability, and lifecycle management.
• Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Ensure appropriate change, incident, problem, and service management practices are followed.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, applications, cloud, and other IT teams on infrastructure integration and technical solutions.
• Manage technical engagement with vendors and technology partners when required.
• Maintain infrastructure standards, technical documentation, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience across Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, Operating Systems, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware / vSphere environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
• Experience with enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture and technical governance.
• Proven experience managing major incidents and complex technical escalations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management and change management.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware VCP / VCF certification.
• Relevant Cloud Certification such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience in highly available and business-critical infrastructure environments.
• Additional infrastructure or architecture certifications.
