• Proven experience managing major incidents and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority across Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, OS, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and govern infrastructure architecture, standards, designs, and roadmaps.
• Review and approve infrastructure solutions, designs, configurations, and changes.
• Provide technical leadership to infrastructure engineering teams.
• Act as a senior escalation point for major incidents and critical issues.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for complex problems.
• Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, available, and resilient.
• Oversee capacity, performance, availability, and lifecycle management.
• Support cloud and hybrid initiatives and align with enterprise architecture.
• Ensure change, incident, problem, and service management practices are followed.
• Support business continuity and DR initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, applications, cloud, and other IT teams on integration.

• Ensure appropriate change, incident, problem, and service management practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience across Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, Operating Systems, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware / vSphere environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
• Experience with enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture and technical governance.
• Proven experience managing major incidents and complex technical escalations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management and change management.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware VCP / VCF certification.
• Relevant Cloud Certification such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience in highly available and business-critical infrastructure environments.
• Additional infrastructure or architecture certifications.
