Job summary

Dallah Health in Saudi Arabia is seeking an IT integration specialist to implement and maintain integration between HIS, EMR/ERP and external health platforms. You will design and manage workflows, develop interfaces, monitor issues, and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Responsibilities include developing interfaces with HL7 FHIR, DICOM, JSON, XML and RESTful/SOAP, and maintaining integration engines such as Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, and Cloverleaf.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in system integration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures and instructions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow-up on escalated cases and issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Design and manage system integration workflows between clinical, administrative and external systems.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using HL7 FHIR, DICOM, JSON, XML and RESTful/SOAP web services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues and work with vendors or internal teams for resolution.
• Participate in data mapping, transformation and validation processes for new integrations or migrations.
• Implement and maintain integration engines e.g. Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, security policies and healthcare regulations e.g. HIPAA, MOH standards.
• Document integration configurations, mappings and technical processes.
• Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on integration usage and troubleshooting.

The role ensures interoperability between hospital information systems HIS Electronic Medical Records EMR ERP and external health platforms e g MOH e-health services contributing to efficient hospital workflows and improved patient care.
