Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying/Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of land surveying techniques and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, diagrams, plans, and documents.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and other related software packages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys on land boundaries, land divisions and subdivisions.
• Analyze survey data from aerial photographs, geology reports and other sources to determine boundaries or reference points.
• Take measurements for topography, hydrography, coastal surveys, etc.
• Prepare reports detailing survey results.
• Maintain records of survey data including sketches, notes and measurements.
• Use GPS systems for navigation during fieldwork.
• Ensure surveying work is carried out safely according to company guidelines.
• Maintain equipment used for surveying work.
