Role Context

The Survey Manager will oversee research projects from initial methodology and questionnaire development through data analysis, reporting and client presentation. The position combines technical survey expertise, project controls, team leadership and stakeholder management to produce accurate insights that support organisational and client decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design survey instruments aligned with defined research objectives.
  • Develop questionnaires using rigorous research methodologies.
  • Establish sampling approaches suitable for each assignment.
  • Manage survey projects from initial planning through final reporting.
  • Allocate personnel, technology and other project resources.
  • Maintain control of schedules, budgets and delivery milestones.
  • Oversee survey administration and data‑collection activities.
  • Implement quality‑assurance procedures to protect data integrity.
  • Monitor response rates and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze quantitative survey data using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Identify trends, patterns and meaningful research findings.
  • Translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor survey researchers and supporting team members.
  • Promote consistent application of research best practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and executive presentations.
  • Communicate findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with clients to define requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations throughout project delivery.
  • Work with internal departments to resolve delivery constraints.
  • Track survey performance metrics and research quality indicators.

Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 15 years of survey management, market research or related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of survey design and questionnaire development.
  • Strong understanding of sampling methodologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
  • Experience with survey platforms and data‑analysis tools.
  • Strong project‑management and concurrent‑delivery capabilities.
