The Stakeholder Manager - Strategic Engagement opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a Civil Engineering role responsible for building productive relationships across complex organizational and project environments. Role Context

The Stakeholder Manager will serve as a central liaison between AECOM, clients, authorities, project teams and other internal and external parties. The position combines strategic engagement, relationship management, risk identification and conflict resolution within the Saudi business and infrastructure environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify stakeholders connected to strategic initiatives and projects.

  • Map stakeholder roles, interests, influence and communication needs.

  • Analyze relationships between internal and external parties.

  • Develop engagement strategies for different stakeholder groups.

  • Maintain alignment between stakeholder expectations and organizational objectives.

  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholder communications.

  • Ensure information is shared accurately, transparently and on time.

  • Organize stakeholder meetings, consultations and feedback sessions.

  • Record concerns, commitments and agreed follow-up actions.

  • Analyze feedback to identify project risks and improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams around stakeholder requirements.

  • Incorporate stakeholder needs into planning and execution activities.

  • Communicate schedules, deliverables and project changes clearly.

  • Manage expectations during delays, constraints or scope adjustments.

  • Prepare communication plans, reports and presentations.

  • Maintain complete stakeholder records and engagement documentation.

  • Monitor satisfaction and engagement performance.

  • Implement corrective measures when relationships or communication weaken.

  • Resolve disagreements between stakeholders and internal teams.

Ideal Profile


  • Minimum 15 years of stakeholder or relationship-management experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder mapping and analysis.

  • Proven ability to develop engagement and communication strategies.

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication capabilities.

  • Ability to engage government, commercial and community stakeholders.

  • Excellent organization and competing-priority management skills.

  • Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.

  • Effective negotiation, mediation and conflict-resolution abilities.

  • Experience coordinating projects and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Familiarity with stakeholder-management platforms and tools.

  • Strong understanding of organizational structures and business dynamics.

  • Riyadh or wider Middle East experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Saudi business practices and cultural expectations is advantageous.

  • Construction, energy, infrastructure or government-relations experience is beneficial.

  • Proficiency with reporting and data-analysis tools is advantageous.
