Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in surveying for airport or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in runway, taxiway, and airfield pavement surveying.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment and digital survey tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in controlled or operational airfield environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform setting out for runways, taxiways, aprons, pavements, and airfield infrastructure elements.
• Verify alignments, elevations, slopes, and grading against approved designs.
• Ensure accurate positioning of utilities, drainage systems, and civil components.
• Review survey data, drawings, and as-built records to confirm compliance.
• Support engineers in verifying contractor works within specified tolerances.
• Conduct topographic and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and laser scanning tools.
• Coordinate with civil, QA QC, and field teams for alignment with project requirements.
• Maintain detailed survey records, reports, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform setting out for runways, taxiways, aprons, pavements, and airfield infrastructure elements
• Verify alignments, elevations, slopes, and grading against approved designs
• Ensure accurate positioning of utilities, drainage systems, and civil components
• Review survey data, drawings, and as-built records to confirm compliance
• Support engineers in verifying contractor works within specified tolerances
• Conduct topographic and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and laser scanning tools
• Coordinate with civil, QA QC, and field teams for alignment with project requirements
• Support staking, marking, and verification for construction activities
• Communicate survey results, deviations, and corrective recommendations
• Maintain detailed survey records, reports, and documentation
• Participate in site coordination meetings and technical reviews
• Ensure compliance with ICAO, FAA, and local aviation authority standards
• Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes
• Promote safe surveying practices in restricted airside environments
• Mentor junior survey staff and support team development
