Job Description

Job Purpose: The Supervisor will oversee site implementation, field teams, subcontractors, and project activities in telecom/network rollout projects. The role ensures project delivery in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety while complying with Saudi operator standards (STC, Mobily, Zain, Salam) and CITC regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of site engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper execution of telecom installation, integration, and commissioning.
• Monitor project progress and provide daily/weekly reports to the Project Manager.
• Validate site survey reports, as-built documents, and acceptance test results.
• Ensure compliance with operator and vendor (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE) standards.
• Supervise civil, tower, shelter, and power works related to telecom sites.
• Manage materials, tools, and logistics required at project sites.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
• Act as the first escalation point for site issues and coordinate with NOC/vendor TAC if needed.
• Support integration teams during RAN, Core, Transmission, and Fiber rollout.
• Ensure on-time project delivery and assist in site acceptance with the client/operator.

Mobile Networks (RAN) – Required Technical Knowledge

• 2G / 3G / 4G LTE, and awareness of 5G NR rollout projects.
• Knowledge of RAN site parameters, alarms, and basic optimization needs.
• Familiarity with OSS/NMS tools (Huawei U2020, Ericsson ENM, Nokia NetAct).

Transmission & Fiber

• Microwave link installation and alignment (Ericsson Minilink, Huawei RTN, Nokia MW).
• Basics of PDH, SDH, Ethernet, IP/MPLS transmission.
• Fiber optic OSP/ISP supervision (splicing, OTDR testing, acceptance).

Civil & Power Works

• Tower erection, shelter installation, grounding & earthing.
• Telecom site power systems (rectifiers, batteries, generators).
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco & operator civil/structural standards.

Networking & IT Skills

• Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• CCNA/HCIA-level knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Project / Primavera for project tracking.

Standards & Compliance

• Knowledge of CITC regulations and STC/Mobily/Zain quality standards.
• Familiarity with ITIL project and change management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of telecom site/project supervision experience in Saudi/GCC.
• Hands-on exposure to Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, or ZTE equipment.
• Vendor certifications preferred: Huawei HCIA/HCIP, Nokia NFM, Ericsson Certified.
• PMP (basic) or Project Supervision certificates are an advantage.
• Valid Saudi driving license preferred.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills (English is required, Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple project sites.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel across KSA for site supervision.
