Job summary

DAR Engineering, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, seeks a skilled professional to review structural designs and shop drawings for Saudi projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on verification of calculations and compliance with codes and project specs, while providing construction support and technical assessments.

The ideal candidate will critically evaluate designs, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and respond to RFIs, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in structural design review and shop drawings.
• Ability to critically assess designs and ensure compliance.
• Provide construction support and technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify structural designs, calculations, and reports.
• Check IFC, detailed designs and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements, codes, and specifications.
• Prepare technical review comments, assessment reports, and recommendations.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions related to structural works.
• Identify design discrepancies, constructability issues, and coordination conflicts, and provide technical recommendations.
• Support site teams by responding to RFIs, and design‑related construction issues.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
