Job summary

Red Sea Global is seeking a Manager, Risk & Crisis Communications to strengthen its ability to anticipate, prepare for, and respond to risks across destinations. You will lead risk assessments, develop crisis playbooks, and coordinate across departments to protect and enhance reputation.

Responsibilities include organizing crisis simulations, preparing materials, and reporting to senior leadership while embedding preparedness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk and crisis communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Linguistic, Translation, Journalist, or relevant field.
• Excellent writing skills in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing risk assessments for projects, considering geopolitical, economic, environmental, reputational, and operational risks.
• Identify and prioritize key risks.
• Monitor emerging issues and external developments via trusted sources.
• Ensure alignment of risk monitoring with enterprise risk priorities.
• Develop and oversee crisis communications strategies, playbooks, and escalation processes.
• Lead cross-department coordination to align crisis response with brand and values.
• Organize workshops, simulations, and media training for executives and spokespeople.
• Prepare crisis materials: statements, releases, FAQs, and social content.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of risk and crisis projects with timely execution.
• Oversee planning, resourcing, timelines, and reporting for crisis initiatives.
• Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Operations, and Corporate Affairs for integrated planning.
• Track KPIs and provide insights to leadership for improvement.
