Job summary

Hill International, Inc. seeks an experienced Risk Management professional to identify, assess, and monitor risks across the full project lifecycle for major infrastructure programs in Saudi Arabia. You will develop risk registers, coordinate reviews with clients and teams, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.

The role supports preparation of mitigation plans, feeds risk reports, and applies ERM principles at project level with strong analytical and facilitation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• RMP certification or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management with demonstrated risk management on large infrastructure/mega projects.
• Working knowledge of project controls, cost, schedule, contracts, and claims risk.
• Experience identifying and managing cost, schedule, quality, and safety risks.
• Familiarity with risk management systems and databases (e.g. Active Risk Manager).
• Understanding of ERM principles applied at project level.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and monitor project risks across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Develop, update, and maintain Project / Program / PMC Risk Registers.
• Coordinate and facilitate risk review workshops with Client, PMC team, consultants, and contractors.
• Clearly define risks, challenges, and issues and escalate to management in a timely manner.
• Prepare and update risk mitigation and response plans and monitor implementation.
• Report on key risks, trends, and mitigation effectiveness through periodic risk reports.
• Support risk probability and impact matrices development and application.
• Support risk identification related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and procurement.
• Provide risk input during pre-construction, design, procurement, and construction stages.
• Review contracts, procurement strategies, and delivery methods from a risk perspective.
• Assist in assessing risks across different project delivery systems (lump sum, cost-plus, target cost, etc.).
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify and evaluate risk issues.
• Maintain risk data within approved risk management tools and databases.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
