Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within infrastructure or construction.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools, including qualitative and quantitative risk analysis techniques.
• Experience in developing and implementing risk management plans, including risk response strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex risks and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in using risk management software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Risk Register, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of risk management deliverables.
• Familiarity with ISO 31000 standards and risk management regulations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for infrastructure projects identifying hazards and their likelihood and impact.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive risk register and prioritize risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement risk management plans including contingency strategies and mitigation measures.
• Monitor and analyze project performance to identify emerging risks and proactive actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to embed risk management in planning and execution.
• Conduct regular risk reviews and provide risk reports to senior management highlighting key risks and actions.
• Provide risk management training and guidance to project teams to foster a proactive risk culture.
• Coordinate with QA to align risk practices with quality standards.
