Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a Technical Manager to deliver customer-focused technical support that improves flock performance and strengthens relationships. The role partners with commercial and specialist teams to translate technical expertise into measurable customer and business results.

Responsibilities include leading technical visits, customer reviews, data-driven feedback, and collaboration across quality, operations, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical or customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of the poultry industry including grandparent, parent stock, and broiler operations.
• Knowledge of Veterinary, Incubation, and Nutrition is an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general internet-based tools.
• Strong command of English; knowledge of Arabic and French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular structured technical visits with key customers to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Organize customer site visits in response to operational needs and requests, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Lead six-monthly customer reviews focused on performance, improvements, and partnership value.
• Provide data-driven technical feedback to support performance optimization.
• Share Aviagen technical documentation and best practices to boost customer knowledge.
• Deliver high-quality technical support as part of the branded customer-focused team.
• Develop and monitor customer improvement plans with measurable results.
• Contribute to annual Product Improvement Plans to drive product performance.
• Track breeder first-week mortality and weekly chick shipments to identify risks.
• Prepare monthly technical reports to the STM detailing activities and insights.
• Coordinate with Regional/Product Managers to ensure data submission in internal systems.
• Ensure data submission to Easy Flock tracking system and collect competitor data.
• Prepare and submit reports with insights to leadership.
