Job summary

Riyad Bank is seeking a strategic leader to drive the enterprise-wide strategy and ensure it translates into actionable initiatives across the organization. You will manage the bank's business plan and align it with the ePMO, while monitoring progress toward aspiration targets and ensuring timely execution.

As custodian of the bank's overall strategy, you will oversee milestone progress, provide market insights, enforce continuous improvements, and guide initiative owners and portfolio heads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Management, Strategy or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of an enterprise-wide strategy and translate strategy into a cohesive set of initiatives executed by the bank.
• Accountable for the management of the bank business plan and alignment with ePMO.
• Monitor progress of aspiration targets to ensure achievement of the strategy target.
• Manage and improve the strategy delivery lifecycle including the pre-project business case process that leads to project approval.
• Enforce continuous improvements of bank strategy.
• Update the transformation and strategy steering committee.
• Oversee bank targets and strategic initiatives progress; provide guidance to initiative owners and portfolio heads.
• Provide market insights and research on banking industry; act as custodian of the bank's overall strategy.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and timely and cost-effective execution of all initiatives.
• Capture lessons learned and drive improvements into methodologies.
• Undertake any related duties or tasks as directed by the Bank.

Job description

• Accountable for the management and improvement of the strategy delivery lifecycle including the pre-project business case process that leads to project approval
• Enforce continuous improvements of bank strategy
• Accountable for the update to the transformation and strategy steering committee

Monitoring and Controlling:

• Oversee Riyad bank targets and strategic initiatives progress
• Provide management support and guidance to initiative owners and portfolio heads to ensure proper execution
• Provide markets insights and researches on banking industry
• Act as a custodian of the bank overall strategy
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedure, timely and cost-effective execution of all initiatives
• Ensure that the lessons learned are stored and improvements made from these into the methodologies

Reporting:

• Provides timely and accurate bank-wide Steering Committee reports to meet the bank and department requirements, policies and standards

People Management:

• Ensures all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff
• Ensures and facilitates the employment, training and development of Saudi nationals within the organization

Safety, Quality & Environment:

• Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude

Related Assignments:

• Undertake any other related duties or tasks as directed and required by the Bank
