Job summary

BD is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager for the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, based in Jeddah or Taif. You will manage strategic healthcare accounts, collaborate with sales and internal teams, and drive growth through proactive account development and strong relationships with clinical and procurement stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a healthcare-related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Key Account/Strategic Account Management or Healthcare Sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth within healthcare accounts.
• Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned territory sales targets and business objectives.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term account growth strategies.
• Manage key accounts to grow revenue and ensure customer retention.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing/target accounts.
• Build relationships with decision-makers, clinical stakeholders, procurement, and exec management.
• Conduct regular customer visits to assess needs, market opportunities and risks.
• Report to Sales Manager on activities, market developments, and performance.
• Lead commercial activities related to quotations, tenders, and proposals.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure product availability and satisfaction.
• Maintain CRM records of interactions, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Monitor market trends and healthcare developments for growth.
• Support educational programs and customer engagement with Marketing/Clinical teams.
• Represent BD at conferences, exhibitions, and events as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Clinical, Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development.
• Ensure timely follow-up on customer requirements and inquiries.
• Drive account penetration through cross-selling, upselling, and increased MMS utilization.
