Job summary

Solenis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a results-driven technical sales professional to grow our customer base in the processed foods and dairy sectors. You will call on new and existing clients, present technical proposals, and close contracts while delivering exceptional service.

You will coordinate sales activity, monitor competitors, and update product knowledge through continuous education. A Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is required, with 3-5 years in food & beverage

Responsibilities

• Make technical sales calls to new and existing clients
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• Schedule sales activity, prepare sales action plans and strategies, Develop technical sales proposals, Prepare and present sales contracts
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships follow up on sales activity
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development(by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities)
• Updates job knowledge (Technical side + selling skills) by studying new product descriptions and new techniques; participating in educational opportunities.
• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
• Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Maintains and improves quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures.
