Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies Saudi Arabia is seeking a seasoned Contracts Leader to own the strategic commercial direction for large EPC/infrastructure projects. You will lead negotiations, manage risk, and oversee contract administration, ensuring alignment with client expectations and consortium partners.

You will mentor a team of project managers and engineers, deliver senior-level reporting, and drive EOT/cost claim strategies while maintaining a focus on Veolia's objectives and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Law; postgraduate in Construction Law or Contract Management preferred.
• Executive-level communication to represent Veolia Water Technologies credibly with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced negotiation skills with judgment on balancing firm position and relationships.
• Deep experience in contracts leadership on large EPC/industrial projects, including EOT/cost claims.

Responsibilities

• Own overall contractual and commercial strategy for projects, advising senior leadership on positioning and risk.
• Lead high-stakes negotiations on variations, claims, and disputed positions while safeguarding entitlements.
• Oversee contract administration, notices, deadlines, and the contract register across the project.
• Direct the preparation and defense of EOT and cost claims, coordinating with SPV and Client leadership.
• Lead and mentor project managers and engineers in claims preparation, negotiation, and contract administration.
• Provide senior leadership reporting on contractual status, claims strategy, and risk exposure.
