Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Senior Contracts Leader in Saudi Arabia to own the contractual and commercial strategy for large EPC projects. You will advise on positioning, risk, and entitlement, and lead negotiations with clients and consortium partners.

You will oversee contract administration, variation/change orders, and EOT/cost claims, ensuring back-to-back alignment with main contracts, while mentoring the contracts team and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, or related field.
• Executive-level communication and presence to represent Veolia Water Technologies' contractual position.
• Advanced negotiation skills with good judgment on when to hold a firm position.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking for contractual issues within project objectives.
• Ability to lead and develop a contracts team while remaining hands-on for high-value items.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall contractual and commercial strategy for the project and advise leadership on positioning and risk.
• Lead negotiations on major variations, claims, and disputed positions with Client and consortium partners.
• Oversee all contractual correspondence, notices, and formal communications per contract requirements.
• Direct the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of Variation/Change Orders with robust cost and time substantiation.
• Lead development of EOT claims and associated cost claims in alignment with entitlement and evidence.
• Identify contractual risks and ensure compliance with contract terms and local regulations.
