Job summary

KBR is seeking a Commercial Head-Responsible to manage all contracting activities for maintenance in the Jubail-based Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include developing scopes of work, leading bidding processes, and ensuring HSSEQ and KPI compliance across contracts.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 12+ years in contracting, fluent English, and strong SAP knowledge. Excellent leadership and communication in a multi-cultural environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 12+ years’ experience of Contracting.
• Fluent in writing and reading English.
• Good knowledge of SAP system.
• Strong understanding of supervising and Coordinating Bidding processes for maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of Contracts administration, cost and controlling budget.
• Good technical understanding of maintenance execution management.
• Good technical understanding of People management.
• Well organized and proactive
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work for maintenance activities to be executed via contractors, during normal operation of the refinery.
• To develop Evaluation Criteria and preliminary cost estimation for contracts
• To coordinate and manage all activities related to prepare Instructions to Bidders, kick of meeting with Contractors and evaluation of economical offers after being evaluated technical offers by contract responsible.
• To ensure that company HSSEQ policies/programs are implemented within the different contracts to be developed and managed under his responsibility.
• To ensure that QA/QC requirements and KPI's are included in all-Maintenance Contractors.
