Job summary

KBR in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Commercial Director to lead the project-wide commercial strategy and reporting. You will coordinate with PMCs, manage cost reporting, and ensure robust governance across major civil and infrastructure programmes.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement, contract management, and risk oversight, with English fluency and a track record of successful cost control and reporting at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying.
• 20+ years post-graduation experience.
• MRICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Commercial Director.
• Experience in major civil & infrastructure projects.
• Team leadership experience (20+ reports).
• Experience with procurement and contract management.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and govern standard cost and commercial reporting formats for PMCs.
• Maintain database of Insurances, Guarantees, Warranties.
• Coordinate with PMCs to validate analytical data.
• Manage executive risk reporting.
• Develop PCR, Commercial Executive Report, and cashflows in Unifier; integrate data across platforms.
• Review procurement guidelines for BoQ and tender documents.
• Prepare consolidated cost reports for DevCo, BOD, Excom, Treasury, PIF, HRH.
• Collate annual programme budgets and monthly cashflow reports.
