Job summary

KBR Careers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial reporting, contract management, and cost control across a major infrastructure programme. You will coordinate with PMCs, produce executive reports, and support governance, budgeting, and change control for the programme.

The role requires a minimum of 15 years post-graduation experience, engineering or QS degree, MRICS/CIOB certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying.
• Minimum 15 years post-graduation experience.
• Certified as MRICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Senior Commercial Manager.
• Sound knowledge of commercial aspects of major civil & infrastructure projects including urban developments, roads, bridges, and utilities with significant experience in procurement and contract management.
• Experienced user of MS Office and understanding of project management software.
• Experience in international contracting mechanisms including FIDIC and NEC.
• Fluency in English language both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and govern standard cost and commercial reporting formats for use by the PMCs.
• Develop and maintain a database of all Insurances, Guarantees, Warranties.
• Coordinate with PMCs to compile and validate analytical commercial data.
• Manage executive risk reporting.
• Develop the Project Cost Report (PCR), Commercial Executive Report and Cashflows within Unifier and integrate with other platforms for data consistency.
• Review procurement guidelines for BoQ and tender documents to develop PMCs standards.
• Prepare consolidated cost reports for the programme with stakeholders.
• Collate programme-wide budgets and monthly cashflow reports for client review.
• Prepare cost benchmarking templates and cost plan formats for PMCs.
• Participate in programme change control procedures.
• Prepare programme-wide project Cash Flow reports and cost reports with trend/change analysis.
• Review cost risks and opportunities.
• Report between Cost Break Down Structure and Work Breakdown Structures with Earned Value.
• Prepare updates for changes to the Programme baseline budget.
• Support the Business Plan exercise.
• Provide portfolio-wide risk management services for governance and assurance.
