Job summary

acwa china is seeking a Store Keeper for its Warehouse Department in Al Madinnah Al Manwarah. The role covers shipping/receiving, stocking, and inventory control with oversight of stock records and classifications.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma (preferred Degree) and at least 3 years in similar functions, plus knowledge of safety standards and basic computer skills. The position is based at the Sidra facility and requires strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have inventory control knowledge and warehouse handling skills.
• Experience with shipping/receiving processes is required.
• Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse inventory including ordering, receiving and allocation.
• Prepare and type annual requisitions, orders, reports and correspondence.
• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders; process documentation and track damages.
• Post daily incoming and outgoing stock and report cancellations or damages.
• Handle and document storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Identify, segregate and preserve stored materials; keep warehouse neat and orderly.
• Segregate waste for proper disposal and inform relevant personnel on arrivals/ inspections.
• Issue materials as required and maintain records; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under direction, performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintains district inventory for Plant supplies which includes ordering, receiving and allocating
• Prepare and type annual requisitions, orders, reports, correspondence.
• Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
• Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock.
• Reports canceled and damaged items to the purchase department as appropriate.
• Handles and documents storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Identification, segregation and preservation of materials stored
• Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Segregation of waste for proper disposal
• Inform relevant personnel about the arrival of material and to arrange for inspectionAnswers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.
• Arrange to return non-conforming materials
• Issue material as per the requirements and maintain records
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
• Knowledge of environmental and health impact of chemicals being stored in the ware house
• Knowledge of identification, handling, storing and disposal of wastes and expired chemicals
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.
• Ability to pass a typing test at 35 words per minute
• Ability to operate a personal computer and related software
• Good communication skills in English Language.
