Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Controller to optimize storage facilities, manage stock takes, and keep IMS data accurate. The role emphasizes daily inventory operations, adherence to policies, and collaboration with warehouse leadership to apply best practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehousing with SAP/ERP proficiency, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record in inventory control; GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ERP and MS Office proficiency with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimum utilization and upkeep of warehouse storage facilities.
• Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.
• Maintain IMS data base accuracy, standardization and completeness.
• Manage daily inventory operations in line with policies and procedures.
• Lead follow-up to resolve customer concerns, identify errors and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to implement systems and continuous improvement.
• Monitor methods to achieve qualitative and quantitative improvements while ensuring service.
• Supervise requisitions and invoicing for reimbursements, ensuring stock levels.
• Perform inventory counts, order supplies and goods as needed.
• Support HSE initiatives and participate in safety reporting per IMS policies.

Job Responsibilities 1

Maintain the optimum utilization and upkeep of warehouse storage facilities.

Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.

Maintain Company’s integrated inventory management system data base to ensure its accuracy, standardization and completeness.

Manage the daily inventory operations and ensures that they are in compliance with approved policies and procedures.

Lead the follow up and resolve customer concerns, whilst identifies errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures.

Work closely with warehouse management to implement warehouse and management systems and integrate best practices and continuous improvement.

Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous customer service.

Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of warehouse codes, complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.

Perform various inventory counts, order supplies and goods as needed.

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of the types of materials stored in the Warehouse.

Knowledge in storekeeping and warehousing practices including use of pertinent software operations and maintaining accurate records.

Knowledge in warehouse control, inventory control and related duties. Knowledge in Office MS, ERP Good communication skills.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
