Job summary

Petrolube Oil Company is seeking a warehouse/inventory associate to manage receipt, storage and issue of finished and imported products. You will ensure accurate records in the system, follow SOPs, and maintain clean, secure storerooms while coordinating with production, warehouse and laboratory teams.

The role emphasizes timely order processing, adherence to safety standards and accurate stock counts. This is an on-site position requiring coordination across logistics and shipping activities.

• Maintains storeroom layout, security and space utilization to prevent losses.

Job description

Handles the receipt and inventory of finished products and purchased items. Coordinates the transportation of products and the control of associated costs.

Provides directions to assigned employees such as fork lift drivers, checkers and laborers. The job covers the receipt and storage of out bound materials (finished products and purchased items).

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives and issues the finished and imported products in accordance with production data and shipping orders. Entering all relevant transactions in system. Ensure all activities are done in accordance with SOP.
• Implements the work procedures on receipt, storage, handling and shipping of products. Ensure that the safety measures are observed.
• Ensures layout and security of storerooms and warehouse to avoid any loss or damage to stocks. Ensure maximum and efficient utilization of space.
• Receive, store and issue filters and gift items according to issue instructions/orders.
• Ensures delivery to Petrolube Express stations are completed within 7 days from order date.
• Arranges the storage of the finished and imported products in a way that facilitates the transportation, handling, shipping and counting of such products.
• Provides direction to forklift drivers, checkers and labors and ensure high level of performance.
• Prepares and ships the customers’ orders as per the shipping instructions/rules.
• Prepares the report of damaged products and organize repacking or reprocessing in coordination with Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor, Production department and laboratory.
• Responses to any variation on stocks and insure that the quantity in system always match with physical quantity.
• Participates in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual inventory reports of finished products.
• Maintains all shipping documents and ensure that all required transactions are entered in the computer system and kept in specified files.
• Ensures all DNs with customer acknowledgement are submitted to Sales department as per the SLA.
• Monitor products shelf life and arrange for the revalidation in association with Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor and laboratory.
• Ensures that the warehouse and surroundings are kept very clean and safe.
• Maintains employees’ monthly time sheet and overtime report along with reasons.
• Performs any duties assigned to him in his field of work.
