Job summary

Flint International Middle East seeks an experienced storage and virtualization engineer to implement storage and server solutions, including enterprise storage devices, DR/BC, and data migration projects. You will coordinate with partners and cross-functional teams to ensure ICT network implementations meet deadlines.

The role requires 2+ years in installing servers, virtualization, VDI, HCI, data backup, SAN/NAS, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of installing and implementing server operating systems, virtualization, VDI, HCI, data backup software, object storage, SAN, NAS and related technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Min. 2+ years’ experience of administrating server and storage systems.
• Ability to install, operate and maintain monitoring and management systems.
• Basic network level support including configurations, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Must multitask and work under pressure.
• Vendor certification will be a plus.
• Good command of English is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement storage, virtualization and server products including enterprise storage devices and related management software.
• Coordinate with partner and cross-functional teams to deliver ICT network implementations on time.
• Provide technical support and issue analysis for company agents and partners.
• Support customers with technical enquiries, solutions, and documentation.
• Audit and assist project designs for partners and customers.
• Escalate issues to HQ and track resolution flow.
• Assist sales with solution demos, configuration guides, presales testing and service presentations.
• Resolve single- and multi-technology incidents independently and with the team for complex cases.
• Plan and execute product demonstrations and PoC tests in the pre-sales cycle with sales.
• Design and implement data migration projects.

Job Description

• Implementation of storage, virtualization and server products including enterprise storage devices, storage solutions (business continuity, disaster recovery, data migration, etc… ), cloud storage, virtualization suite, cloud computing software & tools, rack servers, blade servers, high density servers, and related storage/server management software.
• Providing project/solution implementation in coordination with partner and/or cross-functional team members to have the ICT network implemented on time.
• Providing technical support, handling problem analysis, and providing other required service to company’s agents and other valued service partners.
• Providing support and guidance to Customers which relate to technical enquiry, issue analysis, technical solution, and document.
• Assisting and auditing project designs and solutions for the company’s partner and customer.
• Recognizing problems need to be escalated to HQ and keep track of the whole process flow.
• Providing support to the sales team which includes solution demonstration, configuration guide, presales testing, and service presentation.
• Resolving single- and cross technology incidents independently and working with team members to resolve unusually complex or cross technology incidents.
• Planning and execution of product demonstrations and proof of concept tests in the pre-sales cycle by closely cooperating with the sales team.
• Designing and implementing data migration projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• 2+ years experience of installing and implementing server operating systems, virtualization, VDI, HCI, data backup software, object storage, SAN, NAS and related technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Min. 2+ years’ experience of administrating server and storage systems.
• Having the ability to install, operate and maintain monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to provide basic network level support including configurations, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Vendor certification will be a plus.
• Good command of English is required.
