Job summary

WSP seeks an experienced Stakeholder Manager to lead engagement activities for major transport and infrastructure projects in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate across government authorities, clients, and utility providers, ensuring alignment and proactive relationship building.

The role requires extensive experience in stakeholder management within large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, with strong Arabic and English communication skills and proven negotiation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder management and communication strategies for major transport and infrastructure projects.
• Identify, map, analyze, and maintain stakeholder registers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, municipalities, regulatory authorities, utility providers, clients, and community representatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between project teams and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops, presentations, and consultation sessions.
• Manage stakeholder risks, issues, and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where appropriate.
• Facilitate approvals, permits, and coordination requirements with relevant authorities and utility agencies.
• Support project teams in obtaining stakeholder buy-in for design solutions and project initiatives.
• Prepare stakeholder engagement reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and executive-level updates.
• Monitor stakeholder commitments and ensure actions are tracked and closed effectively.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, design managers, discipline leads, and clients to support successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, project governance frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
