Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Stakeholder Manager to join our Transport & Infrastructure team in Makkah.

Lead engagement across major infrastructure and transportation design projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project teams, government authorities, utilities, clients, and stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Saudi Arabia's ambitious transport developments while supporting project delivery through proactive stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Communications or Public Relations.
• Minimum 15 years of stakeholder management experience.
• Experience on large-scale transport/infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Experience engaging with public sector authorities and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder management and communication strategies for major transport and infrastructure projects.
• Identify, map, analyze, and maintain stakeholder registers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with government entities, municipalities, regulatory authorities, utility providers, clients, and community representatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between project teams and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops, presentations, and consultation sessions.
• Manage stakeholder risks, issues, and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where appropriate.
• Facilitate approvals, permits, and coordination requirements with relevant authorities and utility agencies.
• Support project teams in obtaining stakeholder buy-in for design solutions and project initiatives.
• Prepare stakeholder engagement reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and executive-level updates.
• Monitor stakeholder commitments and ensure actions are tracked and closed effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers, design managers, discipline leads, and clients to support successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, project governance frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
