Job description

The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall readiness of the spa facilities while delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures that treatment rooms, relaxation areas, changing rooms, and wellness facilities are impeccably maintained to provide guests with a luxurious and tranquil experience. The Spa Attendant supports the Spa team by anticipating guest needs, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to the seamless operation of the spa in accordance with the highest luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all spa facilities, including treatment rooms, changing rooms, relaxation lounges, wet areas, and public spaces.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each guest by replenishing linens, towels, amenities, and supplies.
• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to the appropriate spa facilities when required.
• Ensure lockers, showers, steam rooms, saunas, and wellness areas are clean, sanitized, and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Replenish spa products, guest amenities, beverages, towels, robes, and other operational supplies.
• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
• Collect, sort, and coordinate the laundering of used linens, towels, and robes in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Assist therapists and spa reception colleagues with operational support to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety in compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.
• Ensure all guest areas remain quiet, relaxing, and welcoming, while addressing guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Participate in departmental training, safety drills, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Support special events, wellness programs, and spa promotions as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, spa, wellness center, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury environment.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry supplies throughout the shift.
• Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
