Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalized exercise programs tailored to guests' fitness levels, goals, and medical considerations.
• Lead individual and group fitness sessions, including strength training, functional training, stretching, and wellness classes.
• Demonstrate the safe and proper use of fitness equipment and ensure guests exercise using correct techniques.
• Supervise the fitness center to ensure guest safety and compliance with facility rules and health & safety standards.
• Monitor guests during workouts and provide guidance, motivation, and technique corrections when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the fitness center and exercise equipment.
• Inspect fitness equipment regularly and report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Promote fitness programs, wellness services, and spa offerings to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records of guest assessments, training sessions, and fitness progress where applicable.
• Stay informed about current fitness trends, exercise science, and wellness practices through continuous professional development.
• Ensure all emergency procedures are followed and respond appropriately to medical emergencies or incidents.
• Collaborate with Spa and Recreation teams to deliver integrated wellness experiences.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and hotel wellness initiatives.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, REPs, or equivalent).
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness center, or fitness club.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, fitness programming, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Professional appearance with a positive, energetic, and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
